MF Hussain passes away in London


M.F.Hussain the Picasso of India passes away in London due to bad health conditions suffering since few days.

He was on exile because of his some controversial paintings in 1990's which had portrayal of hindu deities in the nude or alleged sexual manner.
 The paintings came in issue in 1996 when they were printed in a hindi monthly magazine "Vichara Mimanasa" though they were created in 1970 .

Because of this eight criminal complaints were filed against him ,though court in 2004 dismissed the complaints of "promoting enmity between different groups" by painting hindu goddess Durga and Saraswati.

Later in Feb 2006 ,Hussain was charged for hurting the sentiments of Hindu people by portraying nude portrays of Hindu gods Durga and Saraswati and was asked to leave the country.

Since then he was residing in Qatar where he later got the citizenship also and
